PREPARATIONS CONTINUE

Up until Thursday, we still hadn't seen any snow, and the day time temperatures remained well above freezing. You won't hear me complaining though, but we are so used to see snow the first week of November, that it seems odd.
It's quite nice actually and allows us to continue packing stuff every now and then and continue our preparations.
But we have a problem: The night temperatures in Alberta are getting lower and while Ramiro happened to open the compartment where
the water filters and drains are, he noticed a frozen and cracked water filter. cracked. Oh, oh, now what?
The guys at the shop did not do a good job winterizing. We need to get this fixed!!
After several phone messages and e-mails to the dealer we learned that all staff was enjoying a vacation in Mexico, compliments of the boss. Well, they must have had a good year.
But that does not do us any good, we needed to get this fixed. So Monday Ramiro drove to Leduc and they took care of it.
Quit a relief, but a waste of time though.

We fill our watertank with 20% gin or wodka and there are no problems.
